I taught a number of fully online courses for PSU in English and Extended Studies: The Greek Myths, Medieval Literature, Renaissance Literature, Shakespearean Subjects (topics in Shakespeare), and Introduction to Shakespeare. My courses were used as examples to introduce new faculty to teaching fully online.

I served as an instructional technologist for the faculty in the Humanities and Arts at Pomona College, specializing in digital video editing and DVD production, Flash development, administration of course management systems, weblogging, image and video database management and production, digital video and audio web-delivery.

Academic Technology Consultant, Faculty Development Center, California State University Fullerton.
Worked with faculty, graduate students, and staff on technology integration: course management systems (Blackboard), Multimedia (Digital Video and Web animation); taught workshops on effective use of technology, effective teaching and classroom management, and decision support software. Administered and managed various professional development programs for the campus.

Program Officer, Great Lakes Colleges Association.
Worked with a group of selective liberal arts colleges in the Midwest on technology initiatives, faculty development, and study abroad. Was also responsible for the organization’s web presence, internal computer network and related technologies. Collaborated with others on a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant from the Andrew W. Mellon foundation to found a regional technology center known as the Midwest Instructional Technology Center (MITC).
